NJ 2305 Bearing – Size, Stock & Today’s Price

The NJ 2305 is a cylindrical roller bearing with a 25 mm bore, a 62 mm outside diameter and a width of 24 mm. Cylindrical roller bearings carry heavy radial loads, because the rollers touch the raceways along a line rather than at a point, and they suit high speeds. Depending on the design, they let the shaft move slightly along its length or locate it in one or both directions.

The last two digits of the number, 05, give the bore: 05 × 5 = 25 mm. Match the full designation, including any letters after the number, when you replace a bearing.

NJ 2305 variants

Every NJ 2305 has the same outside dimensions. These are the versions you will meet most often:

• NJ 2305: Two ribs on the outer ring and one on the inner ring: it locates the shaft in one direction.
• Letters after the number: On SKF bearings EC marks the optimised internal design and the cage letter follows: J pressed steel, P polyamide, M machined brass. FAG writes E-XL and uses cage codes such as M1 or TVP2.
• Other designs: NU and N float, NJ and NF locate one way, NUP locates both ways. Tell us the design letters on the old bearing.
