Our story
Mumbai’s bearing shop: fifty years behind the same counter
A family bearing shop in the heart of Nagdevi, trusted by Mumbai’s workshops and factories since 1974.
The Bearing Store opened on Narayan Dhuru Street in 1974, as a small family shop supplying the motor-rewinding workshops of Nagdevi and Masjid Bandar. Our customers needed the right bearing, quickly, and at a fair price. That is still what we do.
Over five decades the customer list has grown from neighbourhood workshops to machine shops, maintenance teams and large manufacturing plants across Maharashtra. The address has not changed, and neither has the way we work.
Today we stock genuine bearings from SKF, FAG, NTN, NSK, KOYO, INA and HCH, for industrial, automotive and power-tool applications. When something is not on the shelf, fifty years of trade relationships let us find it: odd sizes, imported-machine parts, obsolete numbers and special materials.
Many of our customers have bought from us for decades. We are proud of that, and we work to earn their trust again with every order.
What we stand for
Three things we never compromise on
Genuine parts
Every bearing comes through authorised channels. A counterfeit bearing costs far more than it saves, so we do not sell them.
Honest pricing
Clear prices with no hidden markups, whether you need one bearing for a breakdown or a thousand for a production run.
Real know-how
Fifty years of matching bearings to machines. We will help you choose the right seal, clearance and brand, not just sell you a number.
Then and now
Same address. Bigger reach.
A small family counter
Serving the motor-rewinding workshops of Nagdevi with the bearings they needed every day: honest advice, fair prices, and the part in hand the same day.

Bring the old bearing. We’ll take it from there.
We are a short walk from Masjid Bunder station. Bring in a worn bearing and we can usually identify it on the spot and tell you what we have in stock.
