7201 Bearing – Size, Stock & Today’s Price

The 7201 is a angular contact ball bearing with a 12 mm bore, a 32 mm outside diameter and a width of 10 mm. Angular contact ball bearings carry radial and axial loads together, because the contact between the balls and the raceways is at an angle. A single-row bearing takes axial load in one direction only, so it is fitted against a second bearing or in a pair.

For the same 12 mm bore we also supply the 71901 (12 × 24 × 12 mm), the 7001 (12 × 28 × 16 mm), the 3201 (12 × 32 × 15.9 mm) and the 7301 (12 × 37 × 12 mm). They fit the same shaft but have a different outside diameter or width, so they need a different housing: check both before you order.

Why 7201 prices vary

• Genuine or copy: fakes sell far below the real price and fail early. We sell only genuine bearings.
• Brand and origin: each maker, and each country of manufacture, is priced differently.
• Version: sealed, shielded, C3, stainless and low-noise versions cost more than the open bearing.
• Quantity: bulk and repeat orders are priced lower.

7201 variants

Every 7201 has the same outside dimensions. These are the versions you will meet most often:

• 7201: The basic number. The letters after it give the contact angle, the cage and, for single-row bearings, how they are paired. Quote the whole number from the old bearing.
• B in the number: B means a contact angle of 40°, which carries more axial load than a smaller angle.
• Pairs: Single-row bearings are often supplied as a matched pair for fitting back to back (DB), face to face (DF) or in tandem (DT). Tell us which arrangement you need.
